Please note: When using a GPS (global positioning device) for directions, you may need to use our former address-78 Clifton Avenue.

From the Garden State Parkway:

    • Take Exit 129 to the NJ Turnpike South. Then follow directions below.

From the NJ Turnpike:

    • Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 9.
    • Follow signs for Route 18 North and Rt. 1.
    • Stay on Route 18 North for approximately 1 mile to Rt. 1 South.
    • Take the first exit off Route 1 South. (Ryders Lane/New Brunswick).
    • Bear right on Ryders Lane (toward New Brunswick).
    • Go through one traffic signal. Ryders Lane will curve to the left and then curves sharply to the right. At the sharp right-hand curve, there is a small driveway on the left (See sign for Eagleton Institute). Turn into that driveway and follow signs to Ruth Schilling Hennessy Alumnae Center at the end of the driveway on the left. (Wood Lawn mansion is on the right.)
    • Park in the parking lot behind the office.

From Route 287:

    • Use Exit 9 (formerly Exit 5) “Bound Brook/Highland Park.”
    • Proceed east on River Road toward Highland Park for approximately 3.4 miles until you reach the 5th traffic light at the intersection of River Rd, Metlars Lane and Rt. 18.
    • Follow Rt. 18 south to the first traffic light and turn right on Commercial Avenue.
    • At the first traffic light, make a left onto George Street.
    • Continue through the next traffic light (Nichol Avenue) and past the Douglass College Center on your right.
    • Take the first right turn at the bend.
    • Proceed straight ahead into the driveway marked “Eagleton Institute” and follow signs to Ruth Schilling Hennessy Alumnae Center at the end of the driveway on the left. (Wood Lawn mansion is on the right.)

From Route 1:

    • Take the exit for Ryders Lane/New Brunswick.
    • Bear right on Ryders Lane (toward New Brunswick).
    • Go through one traffic signal. Ryders Lane will curve to the left and then curves sharply to the right. At the sharp right-hand curve, there is a small driveway on the left (See sign for Eagleton Institute). Turn into that driveway and follow signs to Ruth Schilling Hennessy Alumnae Center at the end of the driveway on the left. (Wood Lawn mansion is on the right.)

From the New Jersey Turnpike:

    • Take Exit 9 to Route 18 North. Stay on Route 18 North to Rt. 1 South.
    • Take the first exit off Route 1 South. (Ryders Lane/New Brunswick). Bear right onto Ryders Lane (toward New Brunswick). Go through one traffic signal. Ryders Lane will curve to the left and then curves sharply to the right.
    • After the second curve, make a left hand turn at the round-about, onto George Street.
    • At the traffic light intersection, make a left onto Nichol Avenue (Douglass Student Center will be on the left hand corner).
    • Make the next left onto Lipman Drive (see Co-op Bookstore). Make an immediate left into Parking Lot 70, directly behind Douglass Student Center or use parking deck on right.

From Route 287:

    • Take Exit 9 (formerly Exit 5) to River Road – “Bound Brook/Highland Park.” Proceed east on River Road towards Highland Park for approximately 3.4 miles to Route 18 South.
    • Follow Route 18 South, exit at Commercial Avenue.
    • Turn left onto George Street.
    • At the Nichol Avenue traffic light make a right. The Douglass Student Center will be on your left.
    • Make the next left onto Lipman Drive, and an immediate left into Parking Lot 70, directly behind Douglass Student Center or park in the deck.

From Garden State Parkway South: Take Exit 129 to NJ Turnpike South to Exit 9. Follow New Jersey Turnpike directions from this point.

From Garden State Parkway North: Take Exit 105 to Route 18 North. Follow NJ Turnpike directions from this point.

From Route 1:

    • Going south or north, take Ryders Lane/New Brunswick exit, towards New Brunswick. Follow Ryders Lane beyond first traffic light.
    • Ryders Lane will curve to the left and then curves sharply to the right. After the second curve, make a left hand turn at the round-about, onto George Street.
    • At the next traffic light intersection (George Street & Nichol Avenue), make a left onto Nichol Avenue (Douglass Student Center will be on the left hand corner).
    • Make the next left onto Lipman Drive (see bookstore).
    • Make an immediate left into Parking Lot 70, directly behind Douglass Student Center or use parking deck on right.
