What is the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College (AADC) Annual Appeal?

Throughout our 100+ year history, the AADC has been known as an alumnae-created, alumnae-led, alumnae-driven, and alumnae-supported organization.

When the Class of 1922 graduated as the first class of New Jersey College for Women, they established the Associate Alumnae of NJC. They asked alumnae to donate a penny a day — $3.65 a year – to fund the new organization for mailings and meetings. Their effort has evolved into today’s AADC Annual Appeal, a yearly fundraising drive that maintains and enhances our independent alumnae association. Gifts to the AADC from alumnae and friends enable us to offer a variety of enriching programs for alumnae that keep connections between Douglass women alive and thriving.

What Do My Gifts to the AADC Annual Appeal Impact?

Unrestricted AADC Annual Appeal gifts are used to keep our AADC Mission in Motion. through life-long learning opportunities, fostering alumnae connections both near and far and strengthening our alumnae community for members of all ages.
