Where Would We Be Today if Not for Douglass?
Douglass is thriving today. Whether you call it New Jersey College for Women, Douglass, or DRC, we hope you will continue to feel part of this wonderful institution through the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College.
For many people, Douglass is the place where they arrived as teenagers and where they emerged as confident young women leaders, ready to succeed. Judging by the outstanding students on campus today, that hasn’t changed.
Under the leadership of Douglass Dean Jacquelyn Litt, Douglass is developing strategies to enhance programs and leadership opportunities for the diverse and academically talented women who study at Douglass today. Dean Litt wants to keep students active within Douglass and has initiated several programs to achieve that goal.
How connected do YOU feel to Douglass? If you are connected, thank you for all you do. If not, maybe this is the time to get involved. The more alumnae who remain active, providing their gifts of time, expertise and donations, the better we will serve our Alma mater for years to come.
Our powerful sisterhood worked hard on the Save Douglass College Campaign, and the drive to thrive continues today. Your generosity helped us raise $41.8 million for The Campaign for Douglass, surpassing our $35 million goal by some 20%.
We want to keep the Douglass name alive, vibrant and visible throughout the Rutgers community and throughout the world. We have so much to celebrate, as this institution remains strong and special. We want to build our alumnae numbers and ensure the future of the college we hold so dear. Where would we be today if not for Douglass?
